Message Re: Attitudes by Steve on 04 Jan 2010 14:12

'Health and Safety behaviour and attitudes is an area that we are concentrating on currently. Myself and my Health and Safety Manager have recently completed a 5 day intensive course with a company called Mindsafety which was excellent in explaining how the mind works and linking it to safety behaviours and attitudes. They have a website www.mindsafety.net which is very useful and has recommended reading. The person to speak to is an Eddie Woods who is very passionate about the subject and very helpful, mindsafety@fastmail.fm » or telephone 0845 130 1069.
A useful publication that we are using is called ASM Affective Safety Management and is published by the IIRSM (International Institute of Risk and Safety Management) their website is www.iirsm.org.

Hope this is of some help.'
